AN EVENING WITH MARK CROSSLEY

FRIDAY 31ST JANUARY 2025 - 7PM UNTIL LATE

‘Big Norm’ Mark Crossley is currently one of the most sought-after sporting speakers. He started his football career in 1987 as a trainee with Nottingham Forest FC and was a big favourite with the Nottingham Forest fans, despite being prone to occasional blunder, and he went on to make just under 400 appearances in thirteen years with the club. He went onto to make appearances for Millwall, Middlesbrough, Stoke City, Fulham, Sheffield Wednesday, Oldham Athletic and Chesterfield and 8 International appearances for Wales.

Mark has his very own unique style for entertaining audiences by using impressions, including the legendary Brian Clough. His extensive experiences within football and the many teams he represented allow him to provide a fantastic overview and insight into the world of professional football along with the intricacies and demands of the game.
Jed Stone will be our host and comic for the evening.

WHAT A NIGHT! Thank you so much for all members and guests for supporting what was a very memorable night, it is safe to say that Lynn, Sam & George's first event was a huge success and we have had plenty of positive feedback regarding the food and service.

Speaking to a few members this week - some comments received were that the chicken dish was the best meal they have ever tasted, and the desserts were huge! The service was top notch, very organised and everyone felt welcome and well looked after. Mark Crossley himself said it was the best food he has had at any event he has attended.

Big thanks to Dan Clark for pulling together what was an enjoyable and profitable night for the club.
