Overview

On the face of it a simple opener, but a wayward tee shot can still be severely punished by the hazards. A drive on the fairway will leave a mid to short iron over the ditch to the green. A par to open will satisfy anyone here.

Professional Tip

A generous opening par 4 played from an elevated tee. The tee shot should be aimed at the middle of the fairway, plenty of room to the right. Try avoiding the left side which can find a lateral water hazard.

Second shot played with a mid to short iron to a small green, depending on conditions I would tend to favour the left side of the green to allow the undulations to release the ball towards the middle of the putting surface.  The green slopes gently left to right!
