Overview

The ideal line here is to draw the ball over to the left of the fairway, leaving a clear approach to the green. Go right and you could be faced with an awkward shot in over the pond and trees.

Professional Tip

A short par 4 uphill, a long iron or fairway wood should be used to a wide fairway, leaving a short iron into a green which slopes back to front, a tricky green to putt on, so try leaving your second short under the hole.
