Hole 10

Overview

This is usually a straightforward hole, but the wind can play a big part. The ideal line is right of the left fairway bunkers. The green can be reached in two, but care should be taken when attacking the flag with the second shot. A better option is to pitch short and let the ball roll on.

Professional Tip

A downhill tee shot. The target line is Mellor Church in the distance. A tee shot to the right of the cross bunkers leaving a mid to short iron into a sunken green.

Usually, the best way to play an approach is landing slightly short of the green and allowing the ball to release forward down the slope onto a flat putting surface.
